Cumberland Arts Festival, happening when kids are back in school and summer is winding down, is held annually the third Saturday in August. It is a great time to enjoy one of the final summer arts and crafts festivals in the area. Visitors enjoy the compact festival lay-out and close, accessible parking. It’s an eclectic event as country meets city!
Since 2009, Cumberland Arts, Inc. has produced a celebrated outdoor festival that joins arts with the Town of Cumberland Farmers Market creating an event that is known as the Cumberland Arts Festival.
More than 100 artists, craft vendors and farmers market vendors, entertainment, a silent auction, and a variety of great food - ranging from festival fare to food trucks - make this a GREAT summer day!
Festival day at the Cumberland Arts Festival starts easy with plenty of FREE parking and FREE event admission. Farmers Market Vendors open at 8am. Art and craft booths and other activities along Saturn Street in Cumberland, Indiana open at 9am. The festival has fun activities for kids and adults. With a wide range of price points and a varied selection of artwork, crafts and farmers market products, the festival offers something for everyone! Be sure to pick up a program so you'll know the entertainment schedule.

Look for the festival one block south of E. Washington Street/Hwy. 40 between Cumberland Town Hall, 11501 E. Washington St. to Cumberland First Baptist Church, 116 S. Muessing St., Cumberland, IN 46229
There are three free parking areas: 1) West entrance parking at Meijer 2) East entrance parking in grassy area between Saturn Street and Pennsy Trail (enter from stop light at Muessing St. and E. Washington St.) and 3) Handicapped parking area on the corner of Saturn and Munsie Streets.
Cumberland is on the far eastside of Indianapolis. It is located on the border of Marion and Hancock Counties.
